Andy Speer says Peloton Strength+ App Workouts will feature barbells, dumbbells, exercise machines, benches and more – Peloton Buddy.
In a recent interview with The Wisdom of Purpose podcast with Greg Campion, Peloton instructor Andy Speer gave some insight into the upcoming Peloton Strength+ app.
In case you missed it, we recently shared that Peloton is rolling out three new beta programs, one of which was the Peloton Strength+ app. Intended to be a completely separate app from Peloton’s digital app, it’s being made “for those who want to immerse themselves in a powerful workout while exercising.”
The Strength+ app is described as “Instructor-led exercise programs in the gym, combined with audio guidance and expert coaching, as well as a custom workout generator to design a plan based on access to equipment , areas of focus, availability of time and more.”
In a podcast interview, Andy gave a sneak peak of the upcoming Peloton Strength+ app, which he described as a “Gym Workout App” that will offer customized and detailed workout plans tailored to different equipment settings and goals. .
During the episode, which you can watch on YouTube, Andy explained some of the features of the new Power+ device.
The Peloton Strength+ device is designed to support a wide range of bodyweight exercises, including barbells, benches, dumbbells and a variety of exercise machines. Note that Andy did not provide a complete list, so there may be many more items included that are not mentioned here. Those with home gym setups can also use the app.
Andy says that in addition to individual training – there will be full training plans available to guide Peloton members to train in a specific format. He goes on to say that the app will offer step-by-step instructions and video demonstrations, complete with training tips from Peloton trainers.
These detailed workout plans are designed to help users step into the gym with confidence, knowing exactly what exercises to do and how to do them safely and effectively. In Andy’s words, the app offers “well-thought-out workouts” that will take the guesswork out of strength training, allowing users to choose from a variety of workout programs to suit their fitness goals.
Perhaps more interestingly, the app will also feature content filmed at locations outside of Peloton Studios, adding to the variety of training scenarios. Peloton posted a recent photo of instructor Rad Lopez in what appeared to be a barbell-based gym, which could be connected to the new Strength+ app.
As of now, Peloton has not released details about the pricing structure of the Strength+ device. It is still unclear whether it will be added to Peloton membership or come with an additional fee.
We will continue to share information about the Peloton Strength+ app as new information becomes available. What are your thoughts on what has been teased so far?
